Since 1917, our College has educated generations of engineers who have contributed to Korea’s industries and communities. Located in Yeosu, home to one of Korea’s largest petrochemical and energy industrial complexes, we combine a rich academic tradition with an exceptional industrial environment.

Learning Beyond the Classroom
Students begin their journey with the freedom to explore engineering before choosing a major that best matches their interests and aspirations.
Starting in 2027, the College will offer three broad engineering pathways—Electrical, Electronic & Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Chemical & Environmental Engineering. This structure preserves the flexibility of interdisciplinary exploration while providing a stronger academic foundation within each field.
Students may also pursue specialized programs in Architectural Design, Healthcare and Biomedical Engineering, Petrochemical Materials Engineering, Industrial Technology Convergence Engineering, and Industry–Academia Cooperative Programs.
Engineering Connected to Industry
Our close partnership with industry is one of our greatest strengths. The industrial ecosystems of Yeosu, Suncheon, and Gwangyang serve as living laboratories where education, research, and innovation come together. Through initiatives such as Glocal University 30 and Jeonnam RISE, students gain opportunities for research, internships, scholarships, and careers in advanced manufacturing, AI, batteries, hydrogen, and sustainable engineering.
